Unconventional though it may seem, G-scale rail makes very good spectacle plate frames for 7¼" gauge narrow-gauge-outline locos.

John Heald's B-class runs on air

The air test is completed with no problems. It would run with the drain cocks open on 40 lbs in all cut off positions with ease. Safety's popped on 100 with 2 pound differential. Steam up is getting close now.
